We distribute to recipient companies throughout the Nordic region every business day, and parcels are delivered by the end of the business day by 6 pm.

You can of course monitor your parcel's progress all the way, as all shipments can be tracked.

Printing parcel labels

You can prepare and print parcel labels using Pacsoft Online, our internet-based transport administration tool. It is free if you are a service agreement customer. You can also use other TA systems.

For deliveries to the Faroe Islands and Greenland, parcels measuring up to 175 cm in length can be sent with PostNord Parcel Economy.

Distribution

Parcels are delivered every business day in the Nordic countries, in accordance with the following:

  • Before the end of the business day, by 6 pm at the latest.
  • It takes an extra day for delivery to certain locations. Calculate delivery time.

Notifications

  • Advance notification: The recipient is notified by sms or email about the day on which the parcel will be delivered.
  • Delivery notification: The recipient is notified by sms or email that the parcel has been delivered. The message is sent when we have registered that the parcel has been delivered to the recipient.

Additional services

  • Flex delivery: The parcel is delivered without the recipient personally having to receive and confirm receipt of the shipment.
  • Transport insurance: Claims can be made if the content is damaged or if all or part of the content is lost. The compensation payable is based on the value of the item.
  • Signature guarantee: Signed confirmation of receipt is required to allow delivery of the parcel. If the parcel is not to be delivered to the mailbox or in accordance with a Recipient Flex agreement.
  • ID check: We verify the identity of the recipient of the parcel and obtain a confirmation signature. If the parcel is not to be delivered to the mailbox or in accordance with a Recipient Flex agreement.
  • Return immediately: If the parcel cannot be delivered to the recipient, it is not left at a post office but is instead returned directly to the sender.
  • Dangerous contents in limited quantities (LQ): If the parcel contains substances classified as dangerous content, in limited quantities.
  • Climate compensation: For a small sum, which goes to international environmental measures, the environmental impact caused by the transportation of the parcel is offset.
