Get mail sent to a temporary address using Poste Restante
The mail gets through, wherever you live, thanks to Poste Restante
Are you temporarily living at another address, or do you currently have no permanent address at all? Then you can use Poste Restante for a short period.
This results in your mail being delivered to a post office near you, where you can collect it.
This is how it works
Your letter is addressed as follows:
- Your name or the company name
- “Poste Restante” shall be stated clearly in the street address field
- The specific post office, address and post code/city at which you will collect the mail must be indicated in the address
If the mail is not addressed to a specific post office, the mail will be returned.
To collect your mail, you state your name and show your ID. If the sender has written an optional name, brand or code instead of your name, you will need to state this before the consignment can be collected.
You should collect your consignment within 14 days. Any mail that is not collected is returned to the sender after 14 days.
