Picking up parcels from Pakkeboksen
Pakkeboksen is a parcel locker terminal.
You can pick up parcels from the Pakkeboksen terminal when:
- You have ordered something from an online store that lets you choose delivery to a Pakkeboks terminal
- We have left you a parcel to pick up from there
When a parcel is ready to be picked up we will let your know.
- If you receive the notification via e-mail or SMS you get two PIN codes. Enter the codes on the Pakkeboksen terminal screen
- If you receive a notification in your mailbox, you will need to bring the “Post for collection” form and follow the instructions on the terminal screen service
If you prefer not to pick up your parcel from a Pakkeboksen terminal, you can call our Customer Service team on +45 70 70 70 30 and we will deliver it to the post office where you normally pick up your mail.
If you want to have your parcel delivered to your home address or redirected to a different post office, this is also possible for a fee. Please contact +45 70 70 70 30.
If you register as a Pakkeboksen user in ePosthuset, you can specify that your parcels should be delivered to a locker between 38 cm and 137 cm above the ground. This is especially suitable for wheelchair users.
If we have left a parcel for you to pick up at a Pakkeboksen terminal, you can ask us to redirect it to your address for free by calling +45 70 70 70 30 or e-mailing email@example.com.
If you wish, we can also redirect it to a post office of your choice.
What can I use the Pakkeboksen terminal service for?
You can use Pakkeboksen to send and receive parcels.
Pakkeboksen is a self-service terminal that you can use to send and receive parcels. We have approximately 170 Pakkeboksen terminals located outside that you can use round-the-clock, and approximately 300 in Co-op stores that are open during normal opening hours.
How do I know that the parcel has been delivered for me to a Pakkeboksen terminal?
You will automatically receive an e-mail or SMS once the parcel has been delivered to the terminal. You then have 14 days to pick up your parcel.
If we left a parcel for you to pick up at a Pakkeboksen terminal, you can ask us to redirect it to your address for free by calling +45 70 70 70 30 or e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org. If you wish, we can also redirect it to a post office of your choice.
What can be delivered to a Pakkeboksen terminal (size/weight)?
Parcels without home delivery and parcels can be up to 61 x 37 x 35 cm (LxWxH) and weigh up to 20 kg.
Can I send parcels from a Pakkeboksen terminal?
Yes, if you send a parcel before 8 am (Monday–Saturday), it will normally arrive (in Denmark) on the next working day.
You can track a parcel that you have sent at postdanmark.dk/trackandtrace. Just enter the parcel number on your receipt.
Can I use the Pakkeboksen terminals if I am a wheelchair user?
Yes, the screen for using the terminal is at a height that everyone can use. If you sign up as a Pakkeboksen user, you can make sure that we always place parcels in lockers that you can reach from a wheelchair. These lockers are located at a height between 38 cm and 137 cm above the ground.
What should I do if I have deleted the e-mail or SMS with the codes for the parcel?
Call our Customer Service team on +45 70 21 80 62 and quote your parcel number. We will then send you a new code.
What happens if the locker closes before I have taken my parcel out?
If you re-enter the code within the first 10 minutes, the locker will re-open. If you do not remove the parcel within 10 minutes, please call our Customer Service team on +45 70 21 80 62.
What should I do if the locker is empty when I open it?
Please call our Customer Service team on +45 70 21 80 62 for help, although we assure you that this issue only occurs very rarely.
What should I do if the parcel is damaged when I pick it up from the Pakkeboksen terminal?
If the parcel is visibly damaged on the outside, please go directly to your local post office. Remember to bring the parcel so that we can inspect it. Leave the parcel unopened to avoid any misunderstandings regarding how it became damaged.
If the damage is not visible before opening the parcel, you have seven days after picking it up to make a complaint after picking it up.
