Regulatory accounting
Pursuant to Accounting Regulations issued by the Danish Ministry of Transport and Energy, Post Danmark is required to publish product economy statements in aggregate form. The product economy statements comprise the monopoly area, the area of competition subject to a universal service obligation and the pure competition area.
Post Danmark is responsible for preparing the financial statements and for drafting methods and models. The product economy statements are prepared by Group Finance in close cooperation with the individual business units in order to ensure a model for the preparation of product economy statements which is in strict conformity with Post Danmark's processes.
Audits have been made on a continuing basis by Post Danmark's Internal Audit of the prepared product economy statements, methods and principles as well as data used.
