Pick up parcels from the Pakkeboksen terminal. You will find free, easy-to-use Pakkeboksen terminals across the country.

Parcel locker terminals

Pakkeboksen is a parcel locker terminal.

You can pick up parcels from the Pakkeboksen terminal if you have addressed them there or if we have left you a parcel to pick up from there

There are two different ways that you can address parcels to the parcel locker terminal:

  1. ​​You can register as a Pakkeboksen user and choose the parcels that you want us to deliver to the terminal
  2. You can order something from an online store that uses Pakkeboksen service

Your access to Pakkeboksen

If you register as a user, you can address parcels directly to the terminal of your choice. You can choose whatever Pakkeboksen terminal you want, and can change whenever you need to. You can also choose to have some of your parcels delivered to your home, maybe in combination with our Modtagerflex service.

When you register as a Pakkeboksen user in ePosthuset, you can also specify that your parcels should be delivered to a locker between 38 cm and 137 cm above the ground. This is especially suitable for wheelchair users.

Information about sending parcels with DPD

Unfortunately, it is not possible to deliver parcels to a Pakkeboksen terminal if they are sent to you by DPD Danmark. DPD’s regulations state that a signature is required when delivering parcels. However, you can still have parcels delivered to your home, even if you are not home. To make use of this service, you will need to complete a power of attorney form, which you can get from dpd@dpd.dk​.

DPD also delivers if you are registered with the Modtagerflex service. You can sign up to the Modtagerflex service via ePosthuset.

Disabled users

If we left a parcel for you to pick up at a Pakkeboksen terminal, you can ask us to redirect it to your address for free by calling +45 70 21 80 62 or e-mailing eposthuset@post.dk​.

If you wish, we can also redirect it to a post office of your choice.

When we need you to pick up a parcel, we will tell you where – and it might be from a Pakkeboksen terminal.

​​Delivery to Pakkeboksen

Once you are signed up to the Pakkeboksen service, you can use any terminal you want. Remember to send the parcel to your Pakkeboksen address.

You can choose the terminal from which you want to pick up your parcel and you do not have to use the same one each time. You can choose the Pakkeboksen terminal closest to your home, work or gym.

Parcels need to be addressed to the Pakkeboksen terminal

To receive a parcel at a Pakkeboksen terminal, you will need to provide the sender with the following information:

  • the Pakkeboks ID that you chose when you signed up to the service
  • your name
  • the Pakkeboksen name, zip code
  • and town name as delivery address your own address as invoicing address​

Picking up parcels

You will be sent a notification via e-mail or SMS when you can pick up a parcel that has been sent to a Pakkeboksen terminal.

The notification contains two PIN codes that you will need to enter on the Pakkeboksen terminal screen. These codes open the locker that your parcel is in.

Recorded parcels

You will be told where your parcel is on the form in your mailbox or in the e-mail/SMS that we send to you.

If you receive a notification in your mailbox, you will need to bring your health insurance card and “Post for collection” form Scan the form and insert your health insurance card: the locker with your parcel will open automatically If you receive notification via e-mail or SMS, you will be sent two PIN codes that you will need to enter on the Pakkeboksen terminal screen. These codes open the locker that your parcel is in.

If you prefer not to pick up your parcel from a Pakkeboksen terminal, you can call our Customer Service team on +45 70 70 70 30 and we will deliver it to the post office where you normally pick up your mail.

If you want to have your parcel delivered to your home address or redirected to a different post office, this is also possible for a small fee. Please contact +45 70 70 70 30.​​​​​

What can I use the Pakkeboksen terminal service for?

You can use Pakkeboksen to send and receive parcels.

Pakkeboksen is a self-service terminal that you can use when the post office is closed to send and receive parcels. We have approximately 170 Pakkeboksen terminals located outside that you can use round-the-clock, and approximately 300 in Co-op stores that are open during normal opening hours.

What do I need to do to be able to pick up parcels from a Pakkeboksen terminal?

You will need a Pakkeboksen ID number. You can get an ID number by registering on the Self-service page. You must be at least 15 years old to use the Pakkeboksen terminal service.

I have registered as a user and I have a Pakkeboksen ID number. Is there anything else I need to do?

Yes, every time you order a parcel, you will need to write your Pakkeboks ID number and your name. Instead of writing your normal address, you should write your Pakkeboksen number, zip code and town name as the delivery address. Example of how to label a parcel to send to a Pakkeboksen terminal:

  • IDXXXXXXXX (your personal Pakkeboks ID no.)/Name Last name
  • Pakkeboks 109
  • DK-2100 Copenhagen Ø

Will I always have to use the same terminal once I have registered as a user?

No, you do not have to use the same terminal every time. You can choose the terminal from which you want to pick up your parcel.

How do I know that the parcel has been delivered for me to a Pakkeboksen terminal?

You will be automatically sent an e-mail or SMS once the parcel has been delivered to the terminal. You then have 14 days to pick up your parcel.

Information for disabled users

If we left a parcel for you to pick up at a Pakkeboksen terminal, you can ask us to redirect it to your address for free by calling +45 70 11 22 12 or writing to skrivpost@post.dk. If you wish, we can also redirect it to a post office of your choice.

What can be delivered to a Pakkeboksen terminal (size/weight)?

Parcels and registered letters can be sent to Pakkeboksen terminals. Parcels can be up to 61 x 37 x 35 cm (LxWxH) and weigh up to 20 kg.

Can I send parcels from a Pakkeboksen terminal?

Yes, you can send parcels from the approx. 170 Pakkeboksen terminals located outside that you can use round-the-clock, and approximately 300 in Co-op stores that are open during normal opening hours. If you send a parcel before 8 am (Monday–Saturday), it will normally arrive (in Denmark) on the next working day.

You can track a parcel that you have sent at postdanmark.dk/trackandtrace. Just enter the parcel number on your receipt.

What should I do if I change my phone number or e-mail address?

Remember to update your details on the Self-service page if you change your phone number or e-mail address.

Can I use the Pakkeboksen terminals if I am a wheelchair user?

Yes, the screen for using the terminal is at a height that everyone can use. When you sign up as a Pakkeboksen user, you can make sure that we always place parcels in lockers that you can reach from a wheelchair. These lockers are located at a height between 38 cm and 137 cm above the ground.

What should I do if I have deleted the e-mail or SMS with the codes for the parcel?

Call our Customer Service team on +45 70 11 22 12 and quote your Pakkeboks ID number and parcel number. We will then send you a new code.

What happens if the locker closes before I have taken my parcel out?

If you re-enter the code within the first 10 minutes, the locker will re-open. If you do not remove the parcel within 10 minutes, please call our Customer Service team on +45 70 11 22 12.

What should I do if the locker is empty when I open it?

Please call our Customer Service team on +45 70 11 22 12 for help, although we assure you that this issue only occurs very rarely.

What should I do if the parcel is damaged when I pick it up from the Pakkeboksen terminal?

If the parcel is visibly damaged on the outside, please go directly to your local post office. Remember to bring the parcel so that we can inspect it. Leave the parcel unopened to avoid any misunderstandings regarding how it became damaged.

If the damage is not visible before opening the parcel, you have seven days to make a complaint after picking it up.
