Send your customers a message when their parcels are on the way
Notify your customers in Denmark by e-mail, text message or letter when their parcels are on the way. Notification by e-mail and text message is free, while a fee is charged for notification by letter.
We deliver – even if the recipient is not at home during the delivery hour
You can make sure that your parcel will be delivered at your customer’s address at the first delivery attempt. If you choose to use our Flex Delivery solution, we will leave your parcel at the doorstep, in the garage, in the store room or in a similar place if the recipient is not at home during the delivery hour. This means that your customers will not need to collect their parcels from a post office if they are not at home at the first delivery attempt, just as you will benefit from having to handle fewer returns from your customers.
Remember that it is necessary that you agree with your customer on a place where your parcels can be left if your customer is not at home during the delivery hour and that the goods will be delivered to the agreed place at your own risk.
If you send parcels containing articles of a high value, you may select to take out supplementary transport insurance through our Pacsoft Online shipping system.
If the value of your domestic parcel in Denmark exceeds the general amount of compensation of maximum DKK 4,800, you may also choose to send the parcel under terms of Insured Parcels. In that case, the parcel will be insured for a value corresponding to the value stated on the parcel.
You cannot send parcels containing dangerous goods with PostNord. If you need to send dangerous goods you can send a PostNord Pallet or PostNord Groupage.
When sending dangerous goods, you are responsible for ensuring that the goods are admitted for carriage and that the goods are in a condition, packed and marked as prescribed in the ADR Convention as well as so as to conform to the rules of PostNord Danmark. Remember also that all accompanying documents must meet current ADR regulations.
